people with nouse just stop. its not to say you dont have any, but be sensible and use it. the majority of people on DA probly wouldnt even care about your argument with alyn, it would have gone unnoticed in the grand sceme of things, but youre blowing it out into a massive flaming war, with spam and suchlikes, when it doesnt have to be like that. if you really have something to say about terragen then just start a club, and you and other people with the same view can all join, agree and talk about it, without the nastiness.
personally i think you have a point, but alyns work is not simply clicking a button, he creates the render THEN DOES FUNKY CRAZY SHIZZ that neither you nor I can do with any degree of skill, to the point at which it would be saleable, and seen and by hundreds of people.
now the guys who JUST use terragen, and simply post renders, well, thats objectionable, but thats not alyn.
i believe youve used 3d software anyway, and isnt it more or less the same thing??
